Monica’s Zen Drawings – are her fluid depictions of various plant and geometric assemblages in her unique style. At first she didn’t know how to classify them but another artist exclaimed they are very “Zen” like. The name stuck!

Zen means a “meditative state of mind” and that is exactly where these drawings are derived from. Each piece starts with a spontaneous sketch, no forethought or plan, only the guidance of the mind and pen. This produces a fluid and unexpected image that results in the finished drawings you see here. With her talent for color, these drawings are truly as beautiful as they are unique.

These giclee reproductions utilizing permanent inks on museum fine art paper are matted and ready to frame. The 8×10 prints are inserted into 11×14 matts for a classic persentation.
