MONICA'S CONDIMENT DRAWINGS

Monica’s Condiment Drawings – A somewhat whimsical portrayal of common condiments by Monica. These drawing have the flavor of an Andy Warhol. According to Wikipedia, a condiment is a spice, sauce, or preparation that is added to food to impart a particular flavor, to enhance its flavor, or in some cultures, to complement the dish. The term originally described pickled or preserved foods, but has shifted meaning over time. Monica originally made these drawings as a birthday gift to her son in law who manages a country club and is especially fond of condiments.

These giclee reproductions utilizing permanent inks on museum etching fine art paper are matted and ready to frame. The 5×7 prints are inserted into 8×10 matts. The 8×10 prints are inserted into 11×14 matts. Since the sizes of 5×7 and 8×10 inches are fairly small, Monica forsees displaying them in collages or groupings. Frames should chosen such that the display compliments the decor of the room in which they are displayed.
