Welcome to our studio

We have dedicated most of our lives to our art and strive to produce the highest quality for each piece. Every acrylic is a unique work of art with no two pieces being identical. Each is handmade from the original drawing to the embellishments. This process pushed the envelope. You won’t see anything like it in the typical art gallery. Our fine art prints on Hahnamuhle Museum Etching paper are nicely matted to fit into standard frames.  We hope you will love our creations as much as we do and be inspired to make in investment in our art! The shopping cart is easy to use and never leaves our site.

– Monica and Jack Puryear

Monica Puryear

Monica Puryear graduated from The University of Florida with a Bachelor or Arts. Her specialty was painting and drawing. Monica’s art has been exhibited in numerous galleries from Florida to California. She is currently producing pen and ink drawings as well as original acrylic pieces. She enjoys drawing almost every day and working on the acrylic pieces. She especially loves working with the embellishments which are akin to piecing a colorful puzzle together. Speaking of color, she was especially adept in color theory while studying art at the University of Florida.

Jack Puryear

Jack Puryear graduated from Sam Houston State University with a B.S. in photography followed a few years later with graduate studies at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Jack has operated a successful professional photography business in the Austin area since 1980. While in graduate art studies Jack became especially interested non-silver printing methods such as platinum and gum bichromate to name just two. He also was interested in the art of printmaking such as stone lithography and etchings. In about 2005 he began to experiment with ink transfers to clear acrylic and wood substrates. The acrylic artworks that Monica and Jack offer are based on this foundation. This unique process is not found in many art galleries.
